For years I have dabbled in digital animation and have even made a few short films in my spare time.  I loved being able to bring ideas and stories to life through my work, and though each production took hours of my time, I always enjoyed the final product.

One of the biggest areas where I really struggled was creating realistic clothing for my characters.  I could never get it to look the way I wanted it to, and even with hours upon hours spent trying to get things right, I never really felt that my work really reflected the work that I wanted to share with the world.

Since I wanted to take my career in this direction at some point in the next few years, I thought that it would make the most sense to improve my digital animation skills by taking Marvelous Designer beginners video tutorials and advanced clothes making workshops.  These same tutorials were the ones a few of my friends had used to launch their digital animator careers, and they are all working out in the industry now – which is something that I have only been able to dream of.

Until now.

I enrolled myself in a workshop that will allow me to learn the skills I need to hone my animation skills and give me the foundation that I need to work in professional productions.  With more than 50 hours of video-based tutorials that I will have to follow, it will take me a few weeks to learn everything, but I am confident that the skills I learn will be exactly what I need to pursue a career in animation.
