While I don’t have a lot of time to read books thanks to my busy life, there are a couple every year that catch my eye and keep my attention cover through cover.  This is exactly what happened when our book club decided to read Chance, a book that covers the British youth culture in the 90’s written by Dave Herbert.

I couldn’t put it down.

Since I was a child, I have been fascinated with the culture of the 1990s.  Personally I think that I should have been born about ten years sooner as I would have been a better fit for that era, and living vicariously through books that cover the 90s is something that I love to do.

I was pleasantly happy to read the book cover to cover and I was not expecting the twists and turns as I consumed each page.  Being brought back to a decade that I love was an added bonus, and as I finished the last page, I couldn’t wipe the smile off of my face.

To me, it was a masterpiece.

If you are looking for a book that is a satisfying read that will leave a smile on your face, you need to read Chance by Dave Herbert.  You can get your copy here.
